I'll stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming bout.

Ex twice unified boxing king Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Boxer's Mentality

"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."

Civil Exchange

In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

However, the novice is still one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning massive paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul stated.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly happening.
